CDSA Monthly Update: August 2025

Welcome to your August CDSA e-update - where we share news and updates about Compute and Data Services Alliance (CDSA) initiatives, services, tools, and enhancements.

August is here and that means the campus will be gearing up for the semester to start.  Here’s what’s coming soon for the CDSA. 

• Are you involved in helping orient new PhD students to Duke?  If so, please include a CDSA representative to provide your students with a brief but informative overview of available research services and storage and compute tools. To schedule with the team, please complete this short form.
• We are pleased to share the recent enhancements to our compute and storage solutions for research data!  These improvements were presented to the IT Advisory Committee last week and received positive feedback.  For more details, please refer to this informational deck. 
• CDSA is hosting an AI Working Group. Members of the group, in partnership with others around the university, will provide training sessions and resources to highlight AI tools, services, and tips for researchers.
