OR&I can guide you through the myriad of Duke resources and services that may assist you with managing your research data throughout the lifecycle. In addition, staff provide consultations and at-elbow support in a variety of areas: 

• Sharing data (with a collaborator or for the purposes of publishing)

• New researcher bringing data to Duke 

• Researcher leaving Duke and wishing to take data with them 

• Data management planning assistance

OR&I research data support staff engage stakeholders across the university to: 

• Review existing resources, practices, and policies around security, management, retention, and analysis to ensure clarity and accuracy 

• Highlight opportunities for Duke to increase its ability to efficiently and effectively manage existing risk  

• Evaluate and present recommendations for meeting funder and publisher requirements for research data
