Nancy Hassell

Program Director, Protected Research Data Support & Compliance

As the program director for Protected Research Support & Compliance, Nancy provides guidance to provost area researchers on the use/storage of protected data. She liaises with various institutional offices (IRB, ITSO, ORS) to assist in data acquisition and management.  Nancy has 20+ years of experience at Duke in various roles and is skilled at helping researchers navigate research data policy, streamlining access to research data and managing issues associated with compliance.
