Margaret Pendzich

Program Director

Margaret joined DORI full-time in December 2022 as the Program Director for Campus Research Support and Oversight.  With over 15 years of experience at Duke, she knows the requirements, resources and systems necessary for conducting human subjects research and provides guidance to faculty, residents, fellows, students and staff. She is experienced in working and conducting studies in various countries around the world. She is skilled in helping campus researchers navigate the DUHS IRB and is a wizard in iRIS, OnCore and other Duke systems. Margaret earned her undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College, and her MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
