Grants & Contracts Administrator
Kara Mack is a Grants and Contracts Administrator with the Campus Grants Management Team. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Kara brings a well-rounded background in research administration and financial operations, supporting faculty and research teams across a range of academic disciplines.
With over 12 years of experience in higher education, Kara has guided investigators through the full lifecycle of sponsored projects, from proposal development to award closeout. Prior to working in higher education, she developed a strong foundation in financial management through roles in the private sector. She leverages her experience in project management and sponsor relations to facilitate pre- and post-award processes.
