Julia Busch

Navigator, Research Project Manager

Julia joined the myRESEARCHnavigators team in April 2026, where she focuses on helping researchers connect to the resources and information they need. Julia’s graduate work was environmental microbiology with a focus on natural product discovery, and she completed her postdoctoral training in the Integrative Immunobiology Department at Duke. She brings more than 15 years of experience as a bench scientist and a diverse research background to her role as a navigator. Julia holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from University of California Davis, an M.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. in Marine Biology from University of California San Diego.
