Grants & Contracts Administrator
Juan is a Contracts and Grants Administrator with the Campus Grants Management Team. Juan graduated from UCLA in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree. After graduating, he began working at UCLA Accounts Payable in 2017 where he worked for 3 years dealing with invoice payment processing, international wire transfer payments, ad-hoc reporting, and as liaison for the UCLA and UC Merced campuses and the Office of the President (UCOP) before transferring to UCLA Psychology as a fund manager dealing primarily with post-award administration. He later transitioned to a Senior role with responsibilities in pre-award administration and has been involved in both post and pre-award ever since. Juan has experience working with a variety of sponsors including NIH and NSF as well as many other non-federal agencies.
