Project Manager
Jennifer joined the Duke Office of Research Initiatives in 2023. Her role in the Research Project Management Core allows her to support campus faculty on a wide array of projects. She has mentored undergraduate and graduate research teams, designed internal processes and metrics for project tracking, facilitated community engagement events, driven proposal development, managed multi-institution collaborations across the region, coordinated international research teams, and has provided strategic support for academic initiatives. She enjoys helping faculty from a variety of departments and institutions accomplish their meaningful work.
Prior to joining Duke in 2019, she was a data coordinator for the nationally-representative longitudinal Add Health study at the Carolina Population Center in UNC Chapel Hill, a data collector at Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, and a kindergarten teacher at public and private schools. She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from UNC-Greensboro and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Learning and Leadership.
