Research Integrity Associate

Jen Gay, Ph.D. joined DOSI as a Research Integrity Associate in 2023. She earned her doctorate in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Neuroscience from Kent State University in collaboration with the Northeast Ohio Medical University. Her doctoral research examined the development of auditory perception and perceptual learning in adolescence along with changes to neural circuits in the auditory cortex. Prior to joining DOSI, she spent two-years as a post-doctoral fellow at Rutgers University conducting research on sensory-motor integration and plasticity in the auditory striatum. She is passionate about science education, mentorship, and improving the culture of academic research. As a member of ASIST, she is excited to engage with the Duke research community to provide education and resources to promote a culture of research integrity.
