Project Manager

Hailey joined DORI’s Research Project Management Core (RPMC) in 2025. Before joining DORI, Hailey worked as a Program Director for Duke's Office for Institutional Equity implementing key projects and events for a portfolio of Duke-wide initiatives. Hailey holds a B.A. in global studies and a master's degree in public health from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She brings several years of work in public health research, higher education programming, and project management to the RPMC team along with an affinity for organizational systems and tailored processes.

At Duke, Hailey has managed a variety of project needs for community members at all levels including vendor and stakeholder relations, institutional research reporting, procurement, employee recruitment and hiring, website management, meeting scheduling and logistics, curriculum development and delivery, strategic communications, multi-scale event planning, and liaising to ensure successful post-award grant management. Further, her background in higher education and public health has allowed her to gain proficiency in several qualitative research methods (interviews, focus groups, text coding, and analysis) and develop skills in survey methodology, strategic planning, and program evaluation. She is also actively growing her experience in several of Duke's financial systems (Buy@Duke, PaymentWorks, SPS, SAP and Concur) in order to better service campus partners.

From big-picture strategy development to detailed project planning, Hailey is skilled in building relationships and projects that meet the needs of various audiences. Most importantly, she strives to ensure everyone has what they need to be well in the process.
