Project Manager

Griffin joined DORI’s Research Project Management Core in 2025. His role in the RPMC allows him to provide support to faculty across disciplines to accomplish their work. He has been involved in data collection and grant support efforts to receive consecutive Title VI awards through the Department of Education.  He has extensive experience in higher education administration and has worked in the academic arena supporting area studies activities.  
 
Prior, Griffin served as the Program Coordinator for the Duke Middle East Studies Center (DUMESC). He completed his MA degree in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. He focused on Armenian-Turkish relations, political theory, and security studies. At DUMESC, Griffin was responsible for managing a graduate certificate in Middle East Studies, Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) awards for undergraduate and graduate students, and planning events throughout the semester.
