Gabe Sealey-Morris

Communications Strategist

Gabe comes to Duke’s Office for Research & Innovation after a decade in higher education, followed by another decade in entrepreneurship. After serving as assistant professor of English and Director of the Writing Center at Johnson C Smith University, Gabe co-founded Good Idea Media, an SEO and digital marketing firm.

Gabe earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Georgia, and an MA in English from North Carolina State University. They are proud to have accomplished the Triangle Trifecta, having served in different capacities at North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina, and now Duke University.
