Research Project Manager
Emily Hazlett joined the DOSI team in 2022. In 2019, she earned her doctorate in Biomedical Sciences with a Neuroscience concentration from Kent State University in collaboration with the Hearing Research Group at Northeast Ohio Medical University. The lab she worked with leveraged social vocalizations toward understanding how the brain understands the meaning of sounds. Before joining DOSI, Emily spent two years working for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. She conducted research on internal improvements available to North Carolina Prisons as the Social Research Specialist for their Innovation Institute. Emily is passionate about understanding and working to improve the human components of the research process.
