Project Planner II

Ally joined the Research Project Management Core in early 2026. She supports campus faculty in important projects, including acting as Project Manager for a large NIH funded Sickle Cell Disease project housed in the Center on Genomics, Race, Identity, Difference (GRID).  

Before joining the Duke Office of Research Initiatives, she held various roles within clinical research at Duke for 10 years, most recently as a Research Coordinator III managing Phase I clinical trials in infectious disease and vaccines. She brings expert knowledge from her clinical background and an enthusiasm for team science to her projects.  Ally received a B.S. in Psychology and an MPH in Applied Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.
