Flyering at a Duke Health Clinic or Facility

Researchers on a Campus IRB-approved protocol who would like to advertise at Duke Universtiy Health Systems (DUHS) clinics or facilities must obtain permission from the site they would like to place their flyers.

Flyers must include the following disclaimer:

"This is not Duke Health research, will not be conducted by Duke Health researchers, has not been reviewed by the Duke Health Institutional Review Board, and is not endorsed by Duke Health. Duke Health is not responsible for any costs incurred by a patient if a patient chooses to enroll in the study as a research subject. This announcement is provided for information only."

In addition, if the flyers include any of the Duke logos, the flyers must be approved by staff in the Duke Health Marketing and Communications department (Lynn Garner, lynn.garner@duke.edu, or Erin Pratt, erin.pratt@duke.edu).
