Duke Arts & School of Medicine Offer Beginner Weaving as Stress Relief
The Office of Learning Environment and Well-Being (LE WELL) has partnered with Duke Arts Create and the School of Medicine to offer free workshops twice a month from January through April on the sixth floor of the Trent Semans Center for Health Education.
On Feb. 14, attendees learned the basics of weaving. They were provided with a mini loom and selection of yarns. Together they worked through some simple weaving stitches and created something decorative.
