Updated December 16, 2022

In September 2021, the Office for Research & Innovation issued a community-wide Request for Input (RFI) on proposed Research Data policies. Hundreds of Duke faculty and staff members from diverse disciplines answered the call.

Using their input, the Research Data Initiative (RDI) Team has integrated the valuable and constructive feedback into updated drafts of the policy.

These integrations ensure the Research Data Policy reflects the current data landscape, encompasses the breadth of research conducted at Duke, and supports quality data management and sharing practices across the institution.

Through the office's continued commitment to transparency, all survey and letter responses from the September 2021 RFI are accessible to the Duke community via Box.
