Project Planner I
Sabrina joined the Research Project Management Core in the summer of 2026. She has extensive experience supporting research, academic, and administrative programs within higher education and healthcare environments. She supports campus faculty and teams with event management, interdisciplinary collaboration support, and financial processes.
Before coming to the Duke Office of Research Initiatives, Sabrina spent eight years supporting a behavioral science research center at Duke, where she managed on-site operations, procurement, event coordination, and supported research processes. Her background also includes ergonomics research, program management, and clinical practice as a physical therapist. Sabrina holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago.
