Rebecca (Becca) joined the myRESEARCHnavigators team in June 2024 to engage with researchers in the basic and translational sciences. She has over 12 years of diverse research experience in fields ranging from cell and developmental biology and immunology to reproductive health and endangered species protection. Over time, Becca has developed a passion for creative problem-solving and utilizing project management to propel research projects to the next level. She leverages these skills as she helps investigators navigate the multitude of resources available both on and off Duke’s campus. Becca dedicates a large portion of her effort to serving as a project leader with Duke’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s Accelerator Core. In this role, she helps research teams move their discoveries through the translational research pipeline, from bench to bedside. She holds a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the College of Wooster (OH) and a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Duke University.
