Raul Doyle received his Masters of Microbial Biotechnology from North Carolina State University in 2016 and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2015. He has previously worked in the biotech industry in administrative, compliance, research and drug development roles. His research experience involved studying mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance and developing novel inhibitors of bacterial defense mechanisms as novel therapeutic agents against problematic and urgent threat pathogens including Clostridioides difficile and multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
In 2019, he joined the Duke Office of Scientific Integrity. He is interested in helping communicate and implement policies to assist research teams and administrators involved in the research life cycle.
