Remembering Duke Hospital’s Futuristic Tram
From 1979 to 2009, Duke Hospital ran a futuristic rail system to transport patients, staff, and visitors between Duke South, Duke North, and Parking Garage No. 2. School of Medicine Dean Dr. Mary Klotman narrates a short video about the tram, which served both as an important means of transporting patients and a memorable trip for many children.
