Duke Flags Lowered: Psychiatry Professor Emeritus Bill Erwin Dies
Dr. Charles William “Bill” Erwin, professor emeritus of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, passed away on April 27.
Erwin retired in 2000 after serving as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences for two decades; he also held a secondary appointment as an associate professor in the Department of Medicine.
His research focused on the application of clinical neurophysiologic techniques to psychiatric and neurologic conditions and disorders. He studied
