Welcome to your October CDSA e-update - where we share news and updates about Compute and Data Services Alliance (CDSA) initiatives, services, tools, and enhancements. 

• U.S. Federal Public Access Policies, Open Access, and Open Data (OA in the Sciences #2) is a free workshop being held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. This workshop is the second in a three-part series on open access publishing in the sciences. Join Beth Blackwood (Duke's Medical Center Library) and Helenmary Sheridan (Center for Data & Visualization Sciences) for a lively discussion on the ever-changing landscape of U.S. federal public access policies and compliance, the difference between public access versus open access, and how best to comply with open data requirements. Registration is required.
