The Data Front Door has expanded to be Duke's single point of entry for all researchers seeking support with their research data. Behind the door is a network of experts from across the university who can guide you to the right resource or provide the service directly. They can help researchers with data sharing, archiving, repositories, finding and accessing data, storage/compute options, data management plans, navigating contract requirements, and more. Start here to quickly get to knowledgeable staff dedicated to moving your research and scholarship forward.

The bi-monthly CDSA Steering Committee meeting was held on March 25. The meeting covered financial challenges during our current economic landscape and the important efforts to protect the CDSA, followed by updates on metrics, storage improvements and a new self-service system for project and research toolkits. The team then discussed the development of a new storage system and the use of Electronic Health Record data for research, focusing on the Federated Clinical Analytics Platform and Epic COSMOS. Finally, they explored the limitations and potential of these platforms and talked about using the Data Front Door as the way to access the tools.
