The Duke Compute Cluster(DCC) is a general-purpose high performance/high-throughput installation, and it is fitted with software used for a broad array of research projects. Duke PhD students now receive an annual no-cost allocation to computing and data storage resources on the DCC. These available resources are designed to allow researchers to process data sets too large for an average computer. These 1-hour information sessions will provide PhD students with a brief overview of the DCC and the basic tasks required to login, transfer files, and use basic computing services (Jupyter, RStudio, Matlab) on the DCC. PhD students can claim their free allocation here.
