The Daubechies Lecture, inaugurated in 2021 by the Provost and Vice President for Research, is an annual lecture series honoring women in science and innovation.
The lecture series is named after Ingrid Daubechies, a distinguished Duke professor and renowned mathematician known for her groundbreaking contributions to the field of wavelets and signal processing. It celebrates the achievements of women in science and provides a platform for them to share their work and insights with the Duke research community.
